<p><em>This article tries to show that there are some elements in the Teun Van Dijk’s Model of Critical Discourse Analysis that can be practically used to analyze legal or criminal cases or issues. Model used to analyze an issue or a case must be adjusted to character of the issue or case so that powerful analysis of the model used  could emerge. A modified model of the Van Dijk’s model then tried to build, eventhough the created model needs to be developed further.</em></p>

There is a methodological differences between Quraish Shihab and Rasyid Ridho. Quraish Shihab views  verses on riba as naskh – mansukh and therefore riba according to him is the additional value although only very little. On the other hand, Rasyid Ridho explains that verses on riba is achained explanation among  the verses and riba according to him is the doubled surplus value</em><em>.</em></p>

Kominfo / 3 / 2007.</em><em> </em><em>The impact of government policies will affect positively, at least to the content of broadcasting that opens opportunities for the growth of the broadcasting industry variation particularly broadcasting content and also provide more choice events, and offer commodity goods and services to meet the needs of consumers (viewers) that can be accessed interactively. </em><em>Conversely, the influence of social, economic and educational needs to get attention because at the time of broadcast digital television enacted that generally people do not know if they have to set up new equipment (such as converter box – “STB”) or even new television. Meanwhile, most of the economic condition of society has not been well so can result in psychological distress for the people. If these conditions are not examined and observed to find out the solution correctly, it will possibly be detrimental to the smooth excesses of development. Therefore, this study aims to examine various indicators of economic and community education preparedness and societal expectations to the presence of television broadcasting digital migration program.</em></p>

The government wants to divert the press from government guidance on community participation. The political goal to be achieved ruler with the birth of the Act No. 40 of 1999 in order to gain confidence in both domestic and abroad, which in turn will obtain either form of loans or donations of money or other forms, in order to continue development. Based on the records of the National Narcotics Board / BNN use of narcotics within a period of 37 years i.e. from 1970 to 2008 increased to 20-fold or 20,000 percent. Of the cases of the stretcher, the number of suspects has increased an average of 49.5 percent per year. To overcome the problem of drug abuse and the government together with the parliament passed and enacted Law No. 35 of 2009 On Narcotics. Before the legislation that has a strong legal basis, the few times form a kind of coordinating agency on drugs.</em><em></em></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><em>On that basis the authors conducted research on BNN particularly with respect to the duties and functions of public relations in that institution, that is, &#8220;BNN Public Relations Management Strategies In Drug Abuse Prevention&#8221;. </em><em><br />
This study is descriptive qualitative, with the paradigm of constructivism. This paradigm states that reality it exists in diverse forms based on the constructive side of it. Based on research by the author, the strategy will be undertaken by the Public Relations BNN is to build the synergy of the entire unit, which is located at the agency. It is not possible for the public relations strategy to do it separately, considering the drug problem is a multi-aspect.<br />
The conclusion of this study is public relations should be given a role BNN more, so that tasks are carried on a more maximized.</em></p>

<p style="text-align:left;"><em>The urge to rediscover and to rivive Pancasila  approaching June 1, 2011 was beginning to take over major parts of society including intellectuals, NGO’s, politicians, students, and those belonging to the “silent majority” . It was quite a movement albeit its inconsistencies, but it surely was a reflection of the general disssatisfaction about the numerous ‘paradoxes’ in the conduct of law enforcement, the fight against rampant corruption, the  slow elevation of poverty, prevalence of unrest, demontrstions and general lack of security, etc</em></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><em>The vision  and mission  of the R.I. as stipulated in the preamble of the constitution and the Pancasila were generally felt being wilfully ignored. Levels of dissatrisfaction and open dissent amongst the general public became even higher after the fall of the autocratic regime of President Soeharto because of absence of clear policies of the ensuimg governments. The rise of SBY as the first democratically elected president has elicited great hopes amongst many. However after 4 to 6 years of SBY’s reign the much expected  fundamental policy changes were still much to be desired. Stronger dissatisfaction became more vocal and much more frequently expressed through printed and electronic media. Criticisms and analyses have bcome the order of the day similar to soap operas  except for some quasy intellectual seasoning.. But so far there were no consolidated social forces that could render concrete directives to the resolution of the immense problems Indonesia has to deal with. One of our serious problems at present is the rising distrust towards institutions most responsible for the eradication of curruption, grafts, steeling public goods and other crimes.</em></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><em> One daring if not radical proponent suggested that a solid national social movement be organized  under the direct leadership of SBY himself as the elected president. This movement has to be a long term consistent action the objective of which is to rally the masses especially the younger but credible generation to create collective will  amongst every body by every body to clean up all institutions from corruptive and other criminal  and other  sordid practices at all levels.. Needless to say that all this has to be worked out peacefully by honouring due process of law and securing restrain from  ultra ambitious excesses.</em></p>

This the summary from a research with title “Penafsiran Syair Musik Klasik Gambang Kromong Sebagai Komunikasi Memperhalus Budipekerti Dalam Proses Pembetawian” (The Interpretation of lyric from Casic Gambang Kromong Music in Improving Good Manner of Betawinism Process).<br />
Basically, characteristic of Betawi people are very friendly, humble and open minded with everyone. Through simple musical lyric of classic Gambang Kromong such as Jali-Jali, Mangga Golek, Tudung Periuk, these people showing that those characteristic are apllies on their tradition.<br />
This is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. In short, lyric from classic Gambang Kromong music can improve their good manner in Betawinism proses.</p>

Analysis of political journalism United States has linked an important role, even decisive, to the mass media in shaping the political behavior of ordinary citizens. Mass communication is the main source of political messages that are considered people in developing their political actions.<br />
United States has involved the community in general elections which marked the start of the nomination Introduction President of the United States. The entire series of events related to campaigns and conventions as well as preliminary election Presidential Candidates United States has received special attention from the mass media, both print and electronic mass media.<br />
Some news text written using a word or phrase that has a local meaning, which by van Dijk called semantics. This meaning is generally arise from speech or community leaders to support the existing text of news. Moreover, among the text there is also news that the syntactic style is a strategy to show themselves positively and negatively opponent. Similarly stalistik and rhetorical style that is also seen in some of the text to reinforce the content of the news headlines as a whole text.<br />

<p><em>The purpose in communicating is to attain some goal and the effectiveness with which it is transmitted.</em></p>
<p><em>Besides of knowledge of subject matter fundamental skills is important regardless of the situations in which a communication transaction occurs verbal or nonverbal communication symbol.</em></p>
<p><em>The ability to use our voices and bodies to express ideas orally and visually facilitates the understanding and acceptance basic to successful functioning of communication process. </em></p>

<p>Abstract. Message in a commercial facility not only information about a product, but a union between the interests, partisanship to ideology. In this study, researchers raised about how the dominance of men over women represented conducts an ad. In this case the researchers chose Axe print ads in two versions. That is, the version of &#8220;Tarzan&#8221; and the version of &#8220;Lusty Librarian&#8221; which tries to offer a representation of male dominance over women through the ads.<br />
Researchers used the theory of groups are silenced (Muted Group Theory) included in the critical theory or critical paradigrna. Researchers also rnemakai several concepts such as hegemony and gender. This was a qualitative descriptive approach. Researcher rnenggunakan semiotic analysis of Roland Barthes&#8217;s model in-rnakna rnembedah meaning in print advertisements Axe.<br />
After thorough analysis, we obtained results that apparently conducts both print ad version of the Axe, the dominance of men over women is represented by the figure rnenggunakan men and women with all the positions that are illustrated and also written in your ad headline. It was also found that the dominance of that seen in print ads Axe version of Tarzan is a dominance in the physical and mental, and in print ads Axe dorninasi version of &#8220;Lusty Librarian&#8221; found that women dominated the mental.</p>

<p><em>The use of mass media become a tool of the most effective, efficient and quick way to inform the company in a product or service to the society &#8216;s, and was mostly done by the company to rnenggunakan rnassa media as a tool to promote products or services to be offered to the public, one of which is print media that this is a magazine in ha1. Most magazines are published mernang comfort women. <p><em>In a typical days at work or college we are likely to be confronted  with arguments coming in all shapes and sizes.</em></p>
<p><em>Reading the newspaper over breakfast or listening to the morning news. We will come under the influence of other persons or organisations trying to convince us of the correctness of their views on everything from the best value cereal to eat to who we should vote for in the next election.</em></p>
<p><em>At college, we will be expected to critically judge the value of what we read in books and articles, and be able to produce essays and reports which are logical and well-organised.</em></p>
<p><em>At work, we will have reports to read (and write) in which it will be extremely important dto judge whether the conclusions and recommendations reached are correct or not. </em></p>
<p><em>As we advance in our careers, this skill of clear thinking becomes ever more important as quick and accurate judgments have to be made on many other people’s arguments and submissions. So important is it to think clearly in relation to our own and others’ ideas that it is difficult to imagine a successful person who does not have this ability.</em></p>
<p><em>The purpose of this chapter is to introduce the main types of argument used in everyday life, with a view not only to being able to convincingly demonstrate- to ourselves and our “opponents”- the reasons for such a judgment. Most people have a rough, instinctive idea of the value of argument, but lack the ability to put forward the exact the reasons why the argument is good or bad. </em></p>

<p><em>Abstract</em></p>
<p><em>The analysis of the early marriage in regards to the law with the protection of the under age child towards the development of the quality of human resources, that the results of this research was qualified as the legal research that was inter and multi disciplinary, so as the source of the data that came from the bibliography research, was supported by results of field work through the interview. The data was gathered to be analyzed through the juridical analysis method quantitative by depicting the data in accordance with the problem henceforth was interpreted, systemized, as well as was given by the argumentation to get the conclusion.</em></p>
<p><em>Results of the research showed evidently the lower age limit for the woman to be married resulted in the rate of the birth being higher, also showed the existence of the life in the household not harmonious. In the implementation of the marriage, the manipulation of the age, without the court’s dispensation happened. Factors that affected it in part, the free association, the culture/the tradition, education, economics, as a result the development of human resources was doubted, become more immature, often quarrelling, the high divorce, and often were being sick. The child was forced to drop out of school, the child lost the cheerful life in the childhood, and hindered to psychological development/the identity of the child was forced to become fast mature as adult. In connection with that then marriage regulations of the number 1 in 1974 determined the age limit to be married, the man in 19 years old whereas the woman is 16 years old.<a href="#_ftn1"><strong>[1]</strong></a></em></p>

Theory used in this study are S &#8211; 0 &#8211; R, Individual Differences and Model AIDCA all of which relate to the effects of changes on each and every individual in response to impressions TVC Pond&#8217;s Flawless White. This study uses quantitative methods mengujihubungan eksplanitif between variables or more to find out if something dipengaruh variable caused by other variables. Then the data collected in this study will be analyzed quantitatively by using Likert scale. Based on this research, Pond&#8217;s Flawless White TVC with an attitude of curiosity audiences have a strong relationship. Another thing that was found was the higher intensity can be interpreted Pond&#8217;s TVC watch the higher the attitude of public curiosity. teaser ads did generate public curiosity attitude to always wait for the continuation of the ad.</em></p>

<p>This study aims to explain the mechanisms of symbolic violence of the reality of a healthy body through advertising. As a foothold theory, used the concept of symbolic violence of Pierre Bourdieu by using reflective dialetik. The results showed that the strategy and dramatization distinction arises from the relationships between actors in the arena of advertising production.Symbolic image of a healthy slim body for women and athletic for a man who produced the ad was perceived as a fairness and kelumrahan. This condition is possible because there is compliance with the public mindset symbolic image ads. Mindset is rooted in the relations of domination within the family, social environment and work environment that make up the awareness of healthy body habitus. Kekeran engine advertising becomes symbolic healthy body of sin.<strong> </strong></p>

<p><em>The knowledge gap theory was first proposed by Tichenor, Donohue and Olien at the University of Minnesota. They believe that the increase of information in society is not evenly acquired by every member of society: people with higher socio-economic status tend to have better ability to acquire information. This leads to a division of two groups: a group of better-educated people who know more about most things, and those with low education who know less. Lower socio-economic status  people, defined partly by educational level, have little or no knowledge about public affairs issues, are disconnected from news events, important new discoveries, and usually aren’t concerned about their lack of knowledge. What is knowledge gap? What variables included in socio-economic status? Research on the knowledge gap theory need to be done by students of communication science to accept or reject this theory based on the results of empirical research.</em></p>

<p><em>Over the years, communication media serve the purposes of the patriarchy that runs society. Besides, too few women appear in the media and are limited to a few stereotypical roles (for example, housewife, nurse, secretary). There are the underrepresentation of women as media producers and in the corporate decision structure, as well as social norms that prescribe only certain roles for women. For example, women are bombarded by advertising messages that stress their role as consumers of mass-produced goods and unrealistic ideal of feminine beauty that in turn drive sales of products targeted to women. </em></p>
<p><em>Magazine, as mass media, still reflect society’s dominant social values and symbolically denigrate women, either by not showing them at all, or by depicting them in stereotypical roles. The women that do appear in media content tend to be  young and conventionally pretty, defined in relationship to their husband, father, son, boss or another man, and portrayed as passive, indecisive, submissive, dependent, etc.</em></p>
